I went back and rediscovered Enablers.

But their most recent album is only showing 2 songs to download off of a full-length LP?

Yes, which is why that release isn't featured in the Index.

Yeah it was only free momentarily, it's pretty cheap on the label's website IIRC.

I added a bunch of Alfheimr albums to PA and the Index. I haven't listened any of his stuff though so I can't recommend yet.

EDIT: the "Predatory Nature" EP is surprisingly good. Recommended.

I've heard Celebration and it's definitely worth a listen. It has that glacial kind of post-rock sound.

I noticed your review on the homepage and I thought it was very accurate, and the same with the rating. Which is why I didn't mention this album (which I did listen to) in my post above, but the recent EP. Still, his discography is very large and I need to listen to quite some albums beofre I can have a good overall image of his output.

I just checked out "Dead Horse" by Charts and Maps, and enjoyed it.  Reminded me a wee bit of Masfel, the Czech band, if that's a helpful comparison.

Just found this thread (I hang out mostly in the polls where I don't have to think Confused )
Great work you all have done.

I'd be interested in this Masfel, can you post a sample?

^ Thanks! The comparison is spot-on indeed.

Also, nice to see some love for Charts & Maps on the homepage, they surely deserve it.

Her Name Is Calla added to the Index. They have a free live release, but all their discography is up on Bandcamp, check them out. Good classic post rock in the school of A Silver Mt. Zion.

Would anyone be kind enough to point out which are math rock with little or no post rock involved? Big smile  I already have/know Giraffes? Giraffes! and Charts and Maps, but beyond that...I'm not sure which are more math, and I'm not a big fan of post rock.
