Nothing, but if you are, don't claim you're not.

Nixon was weasel, but he let the EPA get through.  Eisenhower warned us about the millitary-industrial complex and was behind the socialist interstate highway system we have. If a modern day republican even ventured as much you'd be toll taxed for using the thing every few miles.  In the six years that I have been here there hasn't been any republican who did anything worthy of defending or applause that I can think of.  That's not my fault.  And if you discount Ron Paul, then you are the one putting on the conditions.  When I am attacked with "never" and it's just not true, suddenly I'm the a-hole.  I'd be more than happy to settle with rarely.

Then why not be honest about where you're coming from, like you are here?

Ron Paul knows that he can't get anywhere outside of the two-party system, but he has nothing in common with mainstream Republicanism, so yes I place that condition.  Don't recall attacking you, or ever calling you an a-hole.

Look, I don't deny that I am very liberal, but I am not this america hating rigid thinking demon that conservatives have successfully painted us as being over the past few decades.  We opposed the Iraq war and we were painted as traitors for crying out loud...

If you've read my posts over the years I really don't get how you think I've been dishonest about where I'm coming from.

Anyway, I needed to play the victim card once again. Tongue

^Slarti, you're not a liberal. You're a socialist. Laissez faire is the least of your desired ways of seeing economic activities...

You've not been dishonest over the years, you were disingenuous at best when you claimed you've not been consistently anti-republican, which is what I've been trying to say all along.

To be consistently anti-republican I'd have to be against Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Dwight Eisenhower.  Hell, even Nixon gave us the EPA.  If you're saying that I have been consistently against what the modern day republican party has become, then you're absolutely right.

Germany unable to sell their bonds, in 'worst ever' auction...

The Guardian

The Euro continues its slide into the abyss. If Germany, the EU's biggest economy, can't sell its bonds, then this is a very bad sign.

I think you're supposed to be mad that people have more money then you, even if they are fictional characters.

I just thought it was a funny chart with Donald Trump getting his own category.  Also the politicians and alleged evil plutocratic puppetmasters. LOL

Also, it's proof that I don't hate the rich as Warren Buffett and George Soros are there. Tongue

I actually had to stop a minute and think about that question.

Lincoln would have kept slavery in tact if it would have saved the union but eventually did the right thing.  I have no faith that current republicans will turn around.
