Folks in NY who receive Thirteen/WNET,
I wrote to them asking them to broadcast it and this is the reply I got:
"Dear Mr. Vestin,

Thank you for writing to THIRTEEN to inquire about our interest in
ROMANTIC WARRIORS.  While we do have access to the program, we have not
decided to broadcast it in June.  I have forwarded your letter to the
appropriate staff for review.

Sincerely,

Terry Hickerson
WNET.org Viewer Relations"

So to anyone who receives this channel and wants to see the program, please write to Thirteen and ask them to broadcast it, as they have the feed but have not decided to air it yet. If there'll be demand, there'll be an air date.
This is the email:

AVESTIN---I live in NYC but it's been my experience that  the Long Island PBS stations (which I get--it's channel 21) would more likely show this than WNET.

Good point.
But I don't know if the LI station recorded the feed. I'll need to contact them.
In any case, WNET has the feed but just hasn't decided whether to air or not and if enough people email or call, they may decide to go ahead with it.

That's a great suggestion twosteves, we'll contact the Long Island TV Stations first thing tomorrow morning. We encourage all of you to send an email requesting the program to [email protected] to get an air date in NY.

Hey it's nice interview/documentary.  It's main flaw: it couldn't be done in the form of big series like The Civil War or something.  That made you have to focus on just a slice of what has been going on and what has been.  But you exposed me to some artists that I was utterly unaware of and I hope they get a bump off of it.

Glad that you like it Brian! Actually we are currently producing the second documentary of the series, and of course we cannot avoid to again focus on a slice of the prog scene, there is so much going on right now!

You can read more reviews of the first film here at Progarchives: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=29432
