Actors who act, definitely. I love Daniel Day Lewis and also Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt?  12 Monkeys, Joe Black, you call that acting?  To be fair though, the guy worked tons of sh*t jobs for years.  I give him credit for hanging in there.  But I would put him more in he Actors Who Are category.

Meh, I'm always satisfied with his acting. Not to mention...

Why not watch it? Wink

I prefer actors who act, but I'm not overly picky.

Tropic Thunder is hilarious. It's the only movie I find Jack Black funny. It's not really all about Ben Stiller in that movie anyway.
Robert Downey Jr. is the best.

Actors who act.  Actors who are work with a good script, and I enjoy Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis from that category.  And since Jack Black was mentioned, a great scene from one of Willis' films LOL:

I have to agree with the Altarian. Tropic Thunder sucked the big one. Nice to find someone who agrees, but no one in our house liked it.

^ Well it was a self-aware comedy trying to be as bad as possible (which it succeeds to), that's avant enough for me.

Except it's a self-aware comedy trying to be as bad as possible I've had the most fun, under such circumstances, watching it. Big smile

Best performance I ever saw were - Val Kilmer in Tombstone, Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs and Nicholsen in the Shining.

That post would have been great if you hadn't mentioned Val Kilmer.

Does anyone actually care for Michael Cera? I mean, he plays himself in every single movie he's been cast.

I normally would prefer actors that act but I like many actors that are. Exclude Jim Carrey please, who for me is the actor that makes me not like motion pictures anymore...

Adam Sandler is usually horrendous but I kind of like him. The movies where he's at are usually sh*t but the guy has something that makes me not hate him 100%

Ben Stiller, though, I totally loathe. Nothing like his father.
