Not news of the day for anyone else, but a gas main was busted by workers this afternoon that runs by a corner of my front yard at an intersection.  They still haven't got the sucker fixed.  The the roads are blocked off.  Now now there's a really loud hissing sound going on.  If I should disappear from the forums you can assume I've been blowed up real good.  They told my wife before I got home that at some point they are going to need to make a fireball to burn off gas.  Shocked

Slarti you do not want to mess wit that. Maybe go to a hotel or something for the evening. I often speak of music making a mighty roar but some nat gas mighty roar is of a wholly different category.

They were at it all night, my wife actually managed to doze off.  I put on headphones and woke up around 5 or so with my music still going but they'd apparently wrapped things up.  They would have told us to get out if there were serious danger, I'm pretty sure, wouldn't they?

Police: Dog given LSD hit by car


Thomas said Snellville police were alerted to the situation by reports of a naked man and woman running along Pinehurst Road at about 8 p.m. The couple fled to their home in the 2100 block of Pinehurst Road and Modrich answered the door naked after police knocked, said Thomas.

"They were tripping pretty hard," said Thomas.

During questioning, the man and woman said they had taken LSD and had given some to Oscar, who was missing. Police determined Oscar was a dog and began a search, but soon learned the animal had been hit by a vehicle on a nearby road.
