What a cover! Prog metal, I assume?

E
Yes.  The mild form of Prog Metal.

Who would you compare them to?

E
I was trying to think who they reminded me of as I was listening to them.  I think they somewhat remind me of bands like Poverty's No Crime, Event, and maybe somewhat of Enchant.  Maybe somewhat the new heavier direction that Pendragon has taken.  A little bit like Everon.

Pendragon and/or Everon? I may have to check these guys out!

E
They were released on ProgRock Records, which seem to have a penchant for releasing good Neo prog albums.  They are listed as progressive metal but they remind me of the heavier side of Neo bands.  You can check out a few of their songs here on their website to see what you think for yourself.  http://www.odinscourtband.com/index2.html I'd hate to steer you wrong.

Had it for $5.95, so ordered it. Thanks.

E
I hope that you enjoy it.

Yeah, sometime you order from Wayside (hint hint, next time Wink) you should definitely consider making this album part of your order.

I love it, but I'm not sure how it would work for someone who's not a Russian speaker. It's very poetic, and not their proggiest album.

^There was a time in the 80's when that kinda airbrushed crap was the hip trend in cover art.  The Marillion B-sides cover higher up the page suffers from the same virus.
