She seems to have pretty consistent business though, or makes an enough she can afford not to do much.

Applejack probably inherited hers, Twilight probably doesn't have to pay for anything, Rarity is probably rolling in dough, Rainbow Dash probably constructed hers? Pinkie Pie works/stays at Sugarcube Corner, and Fluttershy I don't know.

It might be her parents, but we don't know any of her backstory yet. She seems pretty capable of having built it/paid for it herself though.

Yeah she's famous from saving Rarity and definitely would have gotten cash from that, but the question is how did she get money before that?
