Christmas. Bah! humbug!

how commercialised it has become? You may as well complain about it becoming too Christianised lately

read "Happy Brithday, Dear Jesus" by Frederic Pohl (written almost 50 years ago!!!) if you consider the consumer focus a recent phenomenon...

Greg Lake - I believe in Father Christmas - just everything and the kitchen sink in there mega my favourite Chrimbo tune

non-prog...

David Bowie/Bing Crosby - Little Drummer Boy

Queen - Thank God it's Christmas

The Pretenders' sublime version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (just has a gorgeous guitar tone)

funnily enough, Mull of Kintyre, which I still think of as Christmassy due to childhood memories.

And the AMAZING Fairytale of New York by the Pogues and Kirsty McColl

and old the old crooner tunes Frank, Nat, Bing etc.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra do some interesting Christams music.  Don't care for all of it but some is really good.
