And yet, nope.

Makes sense.  And I guess it was a Michigan ordinance.  I guess I was thinking it was Florida because of the whole alligator thing.  Don't see too many of those wondering around in Michigan.

Quote Which reminds me of the law that attempted suicide was a crime punishable by death.

Also nope.
Not sure how your link creates a nope.  It was certainly treated as a felony, and no where does it say that it wasn't subject to death, unless I didn't read that part.

I've never believed any of those goofy laws, even if some might technically be real.

#1: 8AM to 8PM classes, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
#2: I'm trying to settle on what to firmly believe: that I'll die from cancer (because it runs in the family) or from a heart fail (because I'm having some strange burns lately)
#3: so i'm listening to this Bert Jansch album and i think it's really nice k
#4: is it that wrong to want (I mean, desire) to spend New Year's Eve in Bruges? I've been bickering with my folks for two hours now: that I'll turn into an icycle, that it isn't the season for it, that I won't get the full flavor of it, that <further weather-related warnings>, that Bruges is a one-day stroll kind of a city...
#5: my aesthetics teacher looks like a f**ked-up Goofy

I haven't listened to any of Bert Jansch's solo music. I suppose I probably should.

SQL is basically just learning to talk like a old foreign woman trying to learn English.

SQL aint too bad, man. Just read a few tutorials and you can achieve a decent competency at it. Now, Prolog, that'll curl your noodle. It's very powerful, tho. You can teach a prolog environment to differentiate in like 10 lines.

I haven't learned any prolog and I don't think I'll need to, but I looked over some code and explanations and it seems moderately confusing. Luckly, I've got no reason to mess with AI or create expert systems.

It's really similar in SQL in ways (both are a part of the declarative paradigm, as opposed to the more popular imperative and OO paradigms), and you can use it for database engineering, but only a f**king moron would do that outside of class. But basically, prolog is like teaching a dog tricks.

I'm sure there is an Asian market in your closest city.

Closest city is too far to go just for tea :(

I'll probably teach it to myself eventually just so I can get more certifications and be a badass, but I don't think I have any real practical usage for it. Programming books are fun anyway.

Go to pick up your first hooker, your first bottle of whiskey, and then get tea before you start on your way back home.
