Makes sense.  And I guess it was a Michigan ordinance.  I guess I was thinking it was Florida because of the whole alligator thing.  Don't see too many of those wondering around in Michigan.

Not sure how your link creates a nope.  It was certainly treated as a felony, and no where does it say that it wasn't subject to death, unless I didn't read that part.

I like the Michigan law that says that a wife can't get her haircut without her husband's permission.  Just try to enforce it and see what happens.

I remember way back in the day when I was a college student hearing that there was a law in Florida against tieing your alligator to a fire hydrant.  Why that would be a law is beyond me but...?   Which reminds me of the law that attempted suicide was a crime punishable by death.

Some of them are plausible but obviously not enforced anyway. True that most seem bullsh*t though.
