Wow, awesome photos! Not to brag, but I actually went to Bonamassa's studio five days ago and I'm going again tomorrow.
Trendsetter win!

The search for nonexistent perfection.

Watched the highlights on Sky Arts 1 and to be quite frank, I thought ELP were awful. Keith Emerson, you are absolutely no match for Rick Wakeman!
Highlights were Marillion, who were awesome, and Transatlantic. JoBo was pretty impressive also.
Greg Lake, lay off the kebabs dude!!Wink

I've seen Joe B in concert twice and he blew me away both times. Stellar guitarist, probably my #1 at the moment.

Wasn't he incredible? I'll definitely be exploring a lot more of him since watching that.

Thanks for these excellent photographs. i've only heard the show from You Tube posts...looking forward to hearing the official live CD. As a drummer myself I can imagine what Palmer has to do to keep in shape. My biggest surprise was the excellent vocal of Lake as even on old official recordings (eg. Touch and Go, from '86) his vocal was weak. Can you imagine that not long after this concert Emerson was hospitalized to remove a colon polyp. Maybe the portable synth fireworks shook it loose!!

You still have to pay for Sky Arts as far as I am aware - it's part of the package. Don't worry if you do subscribe - they repeat things many, many timesWink

oh yes when i said free i meant it is now part of the standard package, i never received SkyArts before but after they restructured everything with SkyAtlantic i was able to get SkyArts without having to subscribe to the arts package.

And yes i hope they do repeat the High Voltage highlights soon

To anyone who's in the slightest bit interested about KE's tech guy...

This guy's name is Tom Szakaly - a mate of mine & a good mate of KE's (KE actually used Tom's Hammond L100 at HV); also an incredible keyboard player in his own right who fronts an ELP tribute band called Noddys Puncture... worth checking out.
