The verse is an E11or E minor 7th to almost a Cmajor 7th as the keyboard adds in different notes giving the Cmajor 7th a different chord name. Instead of playing an A note in the E11,...replace it with a B note. This chord voicing should be exact.
The bass plays 2 seperate notes leading into the first chord ...D to E. The E sustains while 4 seperate sections of notes are played together. 1ST section..D and A.....2ND...B AND E.......3RD..E AND A....4TH...Eand B. Each section of notes are played together and are choked as in quick stops and sometimes cause the E11 chord to sound like an E Minor 7th. But the actual chord voicing is based around the notes in E11.
The bass plays 2 seperate notes leading into the second chord.....B to C. The C sustains while 4 seperate sections of notes are played together. Ist section...D and F#.....2ND section...C and E.....3RD section...B and D....4TH section C and E.
Sometimes during the song the second chord has a voicing like this: C, E, G, D, F# Play the notes in that order and listen to the voicing.
During the chorus 3 chords are played. ......
E11 with an added B NOTE .(could be a minor 7th?) ......to ..don't know the name of the next chord so here are the notes...A in the bass and another A an octave higher, D,G,B. and the 3rd chord is D suspended using the following notes: D,A,C,G, A an octave higher. Sometimes the D suspended chord resolves to a D7.
