Happy birthday Alberto! I hope you´re enjoying some of that fantastic RPI you mentioned in the Italian den.
Have a good one!

If John Lennon had been alive, he would have been 71 today. I raise my glass to one of the most important persons in pop/rock music ever, and I congratulate sir James Paul McCartney (he got married again today).

I second that. Sir Paul McCartney got married today and he is 69 years old. He does look a lot younger. He always has. One of the best composers of all time although he reached his creative peak before he reached the thirties. Must be strange, always being judged on what he did in The Beatles. This time, Sir Paul McCartney has married into money. His new wife has more money than he has. |

I didn’t know that! I rarely read gossip columns. Googling, I found this:
http://www.thefrisky.com/2011-05-09/paul-mccartneys-girlfriend/ Obviously none of them marry for money, and they both look younger than their age. |

Let's hope he gets/can now afford what he really, really wants: The copyrights to his own songs. He lost them back in the early 1960s (through Northern Songs). I wish him all the best and I have a genuine affection for him and Beatles now. The man who wrote Eleanor Rigby and A Day In Life deserves affection. Edit: Just listening to some Beatles songs through Youtube. Truly incredible songs. She's Leaving Home etc etc. Just a totally different level from the rest of the scene really. And yes, I am a fan. Who is not ? Edited by toroddfuglesteg - October 09 2011 at 13:36 |

Agreed – though he actually wrote A Day in the Life together with Lennon.
