I have just read in this months Classic Rock magazine that ex- Atomic Rooster guitarist John Du Cann has recently passed away due to a suspected heart attack. RIP.

this news is shocking and depressing!
I have been a great admirer of John du Cann's music for decades, ever since i heard Death Walks Behind You in 1979 I am so sorry to hear this And i am about to recieve a copy of Bullet's The Entrance To Hell featuring him any day now! RIP, John! You will be greatly missed.

I passed up a chance to grab `Death Walks Behind You' on LP at a local record fair for $20 Australian.....why did I pass it up?! Obviously because I'm an idiot! :(
I mean, I had a download of it and knew it was a killer album (and the first album is a knockout for me, too), but I looked at it and thought `Hmmm, I'll come back and get this before I leave'....
Note to self: NEVER plan on coming back! Grab it there and then!
Very sad to read this news, the Rooster albums have become very special to me.
