One of male friend's favourite films is The Princess Bride, I think. I cannot say I've seen it but he seems to love it.

I tend to enjoy suspense films such as Hitchcock's work. Or, when I'm in a more different mood, I enjoy movies such as The Angelic Conversation.

Early Hitchcock is better than later Hitchcock. Especially his pre-war stuff. I don't really like all that many films. There's usually something in a film that irks me. I like intelligent movies though or really weird stuff.

James, your "male friend" wouldn't happen to be Tyler the Creator, would it? (start at 0:10)

Haha, no. I said The Princess Bride, not the Princess Diaries. The latter was a terrible Ann Hathaway film I think.

Anne Hathaway's facial features seem really exaggerated.

Whoops, scat in my eye. Yes, any straight man (I think) can like The Princess Bride, that's a wonderful movie.

I've not seen it but I thought it was mostly a comedy, rather than a chick flick, despite Rob Reiner being the director of it, of course?

I haven't seen The Princess Bride, but I've heard good things about it. I still have no interest in it, however. Fist of Legend is in my queue.

Fist of Legend sounds like a really dirty and wrong porn film.

Peter Falk is. It'd be more amusing if he played Columbo though, I suspect.
