Well glad to hear, but you do realize, Im sure, one does not need to be a patriot to still speak of it. Kinda upsets me all I see is one or the other, few just remember the day and those lives lost without either going nuts about merka or hating what we've done.
If it makes you feel better I was more concerned about people like Teo going straight into our fascist policies because of 9/11 and people making an issue of the fake patriotism and yadda yadda

I have to admit I would be borderline on posting undimmed by anime tears.

That as well. What you say is 100% true, but it's not the type of thing I'd care to see in the thread and I know people would say it. Also sh*t like Henry said it dun matter I aint doing it anyway.

The mass patriotic hysteria is the only thing that annoys me about it. If it could be remembered without flags even being brought into it then i'd be happy.
I probably wouldn't troll it but would probably be easily drawn into a futile 40 page long argument with dem Libertarians

If you're going to start complaining about wartime atrocities not being considered terrorism, you have a long list to get through before you get to WW2....(Also more people died in firebombing Tokyo and other conventional bombing raids, nuclear weapons are overrated)
But it's not exactly a secret that terrorist has always been a loaded word.

Yeah it pisses me off but hey, least you don't need to live here with it. Oh dude at least 40 pages easy. The term terrorism is kinda bullsh*t, one could argue can one attack even really be terrorism? Hell by the end of the day 9/11 itself for me personally fear was gone and just replaced with anger and wtf. Has anything ever truly driven a nation into constant fear? Really just mass murder I guess. Also Germany did it first with it's bombing of civilian London, and England insisted we do the same to Dresden but no one cares about that when Merka is around amirite blokes? That old conservative b*****d Churchill would've dropped 20 nukes included one on India if he could!

And now this is the 9/11 thread, THANKS A LOT
I was never really afraid, but I had (and still do, to some extent) a very hard view of reality.

I bought Dune today. I also found Bret Easton Ellis' Imperial Bedrooms for a nice price but I didn't get it.

Fair point. Though Britain do get most of the blame for Dresden. At least nobody tries to justify the Dresden bombings anymore.
