Gotta be some of Miles' best stuff here. The whole band is on fire. Fans of Miles and the beginnings of real jazz fusion must own this album.

That's the one, 28 tracks. I've got it on CD, although I'd love to have vinyl copies. The vinyl set has got to cost a pretty penny, if such a set exists.

You're in for some great stuff. My personal favorites right now are discs 5 and 6; the only ones out of the set with John McLaughlin. He goes way out and all over the place on these recordings, in a great way of course.Cool But the best take of "Directions" comes from disc 1 IMO. (out of the 5 takes in all)

Listening again right now!
