The Cracow Klezmer Band was a Polish quartet formed by accordionist and composer Jarosław Bester in 1997. Its sound was different from what most people consider to be klezmer — instead of danceable versions of traditional Yiddish songs, and free-form fantasies and laments, the Cracow Klezmer Band instead played often dark and brooding but soulful and dynamic original virtuoso compositions in the klezmer form.

Anyone heard, q.m.

The Cracow Klezmer Band was a Polish Quartet whose album Sanatorium Under The Sign Of The Hourglass: A Tribute To Bruno Schulz was #8 in Rico's Top 100 Albums of the 2000s

Also, Prokofiev's Fifth's finale so bloody awesome.

Marco, I think I'm not feeling much for Dutilleux's orchestral works. I've already listened to Tout un monde lointain and L'arbre des songes at the Proms.

I only like two movements of Tout un monde lointain and I don't think I've heard L'arbre des songes yet.

However, his symphonies (especially the second) are very badass.

I feel like there are a number of users who attempt to do this in most threads in the prog section.

What's Gismonti up to there?
Only minimalist infinities, I presume?

I'm going to see plenty of great orchestras and artists in about 2 and a half weeks.

my absolute favourite love song and guily pleassure when i just wants to listen to stunning vocals and pure clean chords

some times the greatest substitute when tired of prog is great wonderfull disney ballads which brings grandour and wonderfull solid chords and rock solid preformances from everyone involved, perfection in every limb.

I believe Egberto is going to play stuffrom his fusion/avant-jazz repertoire.

Peabo Bryson have probably the most effortless clean vocal in music, he is just so relaxed and yet makes a powerfull expressive vocal preformance, it is defenitly not for every prog heads taste. but i have allways been weak for clean vocals and ballads, with alot of power and fealings, just sends shivers down my spine, some of the best composed ballads are Disney ballads, and they got some of the best vocalists that can sing with soul and power without faltering, i have very rearly, never heard Peabo sing a false note, or falter, and that is impressive, and stil don't sound to stress technique. He sings with the purest emotions, their is some powerfull lungs he have and a really good ear and fantastic timing which is rare, and it is not strange that he have bin givven the honour to sing on two of the most climatic songs in Disney respectedly Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, and receved grammys for both film-songs, to me that is win

to some wierd things are kinde of normal, had you lived in Wiena symponic orchestras are quite normal, or as like a place like your from obviously Blue Grass bands are the normal form for entertainment. when Vienna have the New Years concerts, you might have the traditional farmpartys with the local blue grass band playing festive songs  Tongue
