Last one of those I got was from Nichelodeon and it was very good. It's cool when bands do stuff like that. |

It's only my second day of school, I'm on vacation this week from work, and I've still slept about 8 hours total over the past 2 nights.
Having 3 Finance classes this semester really sucks though. But I graduate in the spring so . |

I haven't listened to Nothingface since I was a wee lad. Nostalgia is so awesome.

Time for Feldman - String Quartet No. 2, part 10/28
I also downloaded Sorabji's Opus Clavicembalisticum with John Odgon, probably be four and a half grueling upcoming hours of music listening. Also, simple as snowflakes. |

Feldman is the most interesting American composer that comes to mind for me.

That sounds stupid. On NPR they reviewed the new Battles and Cheer-Accident, and he opened with "The anti-pop movement in rock can be traced back to groups in the '70s such as ELP and Henry Cow, and continues today with artists like Nick Cave and Nine Inch Nails" So close and yet so far *facepalm* He compared Cheer-Accident to Henry Cow and Soft Machine later, but apparently their early albums were too avant for his tender ears and he likes this one because it's poppier. I have to admit what he played sounded pretty damn poppy to me. Edited by Henry Plainview - August 23 2011 at 17:26 |
