True. I can't imagine Aginor being used in a control deck though, and for black Aggro, five mana cards should be powerful enough to win the game on their own. What is essentially a vanilla 4/4 (since his ability is situational) does not meet this criteria. Especially given that this guy is Legendary, so he's already got another drawback built in.
