i have starded for no reason to unnderstand more french, italian and spanish, sometimes i just understand what they are saying and i have never had a french class or spanish class on school, wierd

me to and danish, and swedish and iselandic if i concentrate, and dutch for some odd reason...

i am also an expert in gibberish, hogwash and kauderkvelisch, but i most fluent in clicking noises i cominicate mostly with whales

Probably because people whi speak Romance languages speak using their emotions and gesticulate a lot (specially the Italians). You may not understand exactly what they mean, but you can sorto of figure it out by how they are speaking.

they are all germanic languages.

I read and speak English. I (used to) be able to read Latin, but it's been almost 5 years since I had to so I've forgotten a fair amount.

I wish I could speak Icelandic... I want to move there so badly.

I can understand some Spanish but not a ton and I started to get good at French a couple years back but it's gone from my memory almost completely.

My grandmother could speak 6 languages other than Portuguese including Latin.

I took Latin all 4 years of high school. But my teacher was pure evil so that didn't help a whole lot.

I should have just taken 2 years of it then switched to German for the last 2 but oh well.

To be honest, it doesnt help you learn any other languages better tyan just learning tue romance languages themselves. Also, unless you're a scientist, it is pretty useless and it is also needlessy complicated (dont get me started on declensions)
Also, I am going to take German next year
