Although I only rarely bother, most of the submissions are terrible, so I usually don't have the patience. Although I just got a cartoonlion drawing on ponibooru from them before it was posted to her DA, so that's nice. Although it was posted on ponibooru by someone we just permabanned from MLPonies, so I guess I don't really win the race to get it first...

I find it annoying that the OP is never the actual creator of the art, but most of the time I can tolerate this, but it is hard to love and tolerate those who are not the artist and never give a link to the creator

That's pretty silly, it's assumed just about everywhere online that you didn't create what you're posting unless you specifically say so (with the obvious exception of places like DA).

But they still should give a link to give the creator credit

It all sounds the same to me. So what if sometimes Kansas had a damn violin and sometimes Latimer could rip off Pink floyd well enough? It's all this same ol' mid-tempo overlong keyboard + guitar jabbing/jamming, generic 'hard rock' riffing snooze fest where the lyrics are usually about some inane dragon or sea battle or 'life's big mysteries' Yes, Kansas, we're all just drops of water in and endless sea. How enlightening.
