I'm in a rather positive mood, though laced with ambivalent, anxious feelings toward the near future. I'm moderately nervous, though I am able to presently breathe easy. My favorite mood is 'lovingly depressed', obtained only from artificial depression brought on by an art that has evoked deep feelings within me. Last time that happened? When I listened to Bob Dylan's 'Mississippi' for the first time. Before that? When I saw One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Dam looks like I missed another argument.

Although blink and you'll miss one today. LOL

And though I wouldn't claim to be one of the most laid back shredders, I believe i'm yet to be in any major shred bitch/arguing fests.

Someone should make a debate thread, like arguments, but more classy

Why debate?

If a debate is on facts - then why argue reality? If it's true, it's true.

If a debate is on opinions - why argue something that can't be verified through objectivity?

So, where's the economic/progressive stance in debate? :P

But I was thinking that the creator of the thread would a moderator and would start the debates by either asking a question or making a statement on one side of the discussion

I'm nothing and everything. I don't think debating is wrong. I'm sincerely asking - it's not rhetorical. I suppose I'm a determinism person, but mainly I try to never honestly associate myself with opinions. If I say something that is an opinion, it's either a joke or me trying to describe my chemical reactions/feelings only using words that are much easier for me to type out.

My philosophical notions = If it's real, it's real. If it isn't real, it isn't real. Rush is Rush, Pink Floyd is not better or worse than Limp Bizkit, though I rabidly prefer the former. All is all. Blah blah.
