I just found out about this from Andrea's review.  Very sad.  I'm glad at least he lived to see the excellent Third Eye Light come to completion.  Rings of Earthly Light is one of my favourite albums ever in any genre

In his mid-forties, just like myself and also former Threshold lead vocalist Mac: rest in peace and thank you for all the music.

Sad news. Way too young indeed.

RIP Paolo.

Both of Eris Pluvia's album titles end with the word "Light"... So let his soul rest in Light. And of course, Paolo, thank you for the music - Third Eye Light was indeed among the best albums of the year for me.

Far too young to go! I'll have to check out his tunes,

Wow he was only in his mid-forties !  Terrible news. That's two amazing Italian keyboardists taken from us at a far too early age.

I never heard of him or his band but any death is sad, so RIP Paolo.

Posted on Eris Pluvia's Facebook page:

Yesterday night Paolo Raciti, the heart and keyboards of Eris Pluvia, has left this world. Now he's playing his piano in the skies.
R.I.P. 1965-2011

R.I.P and thank you for the music
