Proggers are cool. I've talked to and met tons of awesome people at concerts.

Many members of the insane fringe flock to these forums.

qft. Proggers that don't know what PA is are fine from my experience.

the PA attitude can be infuriating
I dunno, perhaps it's just me, but sometimes I think that if you're not happy with the company you keep then the onus is on you to just, well, like, you know, just sod off then.
What?

There's arseholes in all walks of life, Mark.  I've met my fair share of them too.

They may like free-jazz, or they may like pop music or they may not even be into music at all.

I've also met some wonderful people who have terrible music taste.

I often think talking about prog to a prog fan is going to end badly.

Well true. I wasn't saying I judge everyone I meet by their musical taste. Plenty of people don't care for music at all. I don't really care about that.

People who stand 2 meters away from a trash can and still use the forest/sidewalk/street/park instead. What´s up with that? It´s cool to litter, or maybe people just don´t understand what these big metal cans are doing in the middle of the street? Some sort of lunch box for the homeless folks perhaps?

Suppose you're lucky, IRL I think I've met like 3 who are into prog (and for real, not just DT/Rush) and they seemed fine enough but I don't know em well.
Still, I stand by what I said Cool

Wink

Nah just kidding Dean, you know I am totally in to you. If ya know what I mean Big smile

What else am I really, really not into?
The fact that road construction always logjams everything and 95% of the time it's just one guy drilling a hole in the road. However, the few times they are doing actual work is always at rush/heavy traffic hours.
Angry

Semi related: When there's an accident on the other side of the highway, completely away from you, and everyone slows down solely to gawk at it.

On the one hand yeah, on the other, if you're stuck in traffic due to an accident and people gawking, aren't you kind of entitled to?
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Well sure, especially when we're coasting along at 10 mph might as well stop to look, but I'd prefer no one did at all and keep it moving LOL
I'm talking a median divided highway, not even close to where we are. I can see a knee jerk slow down reaction if we need to go past it, but cmon in this case there's no need to slow down for it!!!

I might just be awful at detecting sneaky, rude comments, but from the short amount of time being on this forum, I've found pretty much everyone to be really okay.
One other thing that I'm not into: forums.
I was hesitant to join, but this one seems alright, at least so far. It's the first one I've joined in a long time. On other forums there's always some person on every forum that somehow establishes complete control and never takes anything seriously, yet everyone else with 100+ posts backs them up on everything.
Or am I just really not paying attention here?

Yeah, that's one for the Ranting Room - or for a maths pop quiz... if it takes one man 6 weeks to dig a hole in the road, how long will it take three men to lay out the traffic cones and diversion signs, how many police cars will be needed to catch the motorists who speed up once they've passed the road works and how much will they make in fines?
What?

Dijon mustard on my foreskin whilst showering with hot-dog.

4 o clock in the morning - old people mating extremely loud in the apartment over mine, when I need to get up and be somebody the next day.

Jeg skulle have været på Roskilde sidste år men manglede penge... - det er til gengæld mærkeligt at folk udenfor DK kender hamLOL

Don´t worry I know you were... And he is sort of a sacred cow here in DK. As much as anything can be around these parts.

At a park I went to, there were signs that said "Please feed the trashcans" LOL

Aw, come on.  How often in your life are you going to see a severed head?
