In this case i don't think it did.

I did.  I never took them seriously until I gave them a try in '99 and it's one of the things I find appealing.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

T2 gets my vote. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and King Crimson are the first artists I hear that influenced T2.

There's that band from Japan whose name escapes me because the CD is currently in my garage boxed up with all the rest of 'em. It would probably top the list (anyone want to give pathetic me a much-needed hand here?).
