personally mine is 1.0 but i would give 4.5 to any good prog bands that have some metal inclination

I use a 0 - 100 scale, using tenths.
So my favorite rating is probably 77.3

Not a bad idea. It would be more accurate for some bands: wouldn't it be awesome to give 1,000 stars for every Magma release?
