I buy from any (and every!) shop that sells vinyl! We're lucky in Reading, in that we have at least 4 shops that sell 2nd-hand vinyl, but I also trek to Oxford (Avid Records) and London (loads to choose from!). eBay - caveat emptor - bu |

Cert, I bought "Nantucket Sleighride" at the time of its release, and there were no photos of the band or inserts. Nice gatefold sleeve by Pappalardi's wife though(who incidently later shot him! |

I just found out that the 2 photos and booklet came with a limited number of the first pressings - lucky me! However, I believe that the first UK presings were on the Pink-Rimmed, "Palmtree" Island label, whereas mine is on the Windfall label - |

It is indeed the Pink rimmed palm tree version I have, ILPS9148. Unfortunately, in my youth I decided the monochrome innner sleeve picture needed brightening up, and coloured it in! Doh! |

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures. Not prog, I admit but it has to be one of the best album covers of all times and due to the death of rock vinyl in the UK, it took me ten bloody years to find a band new copy.

I bought an interesting LP today. Gunther Schickert Samtvogel - its a stunning krautrcok LP in the Ar Machines, Ashra, mold - lots of echo-plex guitar and dreamy synths and squiggles - beautiful LP.
