Well, if you ever consider it, don't move to Auckland (sh*thole) or Christchurch (now a lake).

I'm not sure what you are referring to.

I wouldn't mind buying vinyl if it came with a digital download, but they usually don't, and there's no reason to lock music away on a dead format. Turntables with decent sound quality are somewhat expensive, and it's not worth it.

Most modern vinyl I've acquired comes with a digital download card. Some even come with a bonus card for bonus tracks.

My parents have a turntable that's basically mine, although most of the vinyl we have is from their collection. That's not such a bad thing as most vinyl here is damned expensive.

I hate my job. It causes me to feel anxious, trapped, and obsessive.

Back in the early 90's when CD players started appearing here my uncles bought like 5 boxes of vinyl records as they were on sale for 50 cents a disc.

Nowadays even the used ones are expensive here. I found MDK for the equivalent to 120 dollars here and that was the cheapest Magma vinyl I could find.

That's ridiculous. I found it here for just $22, which I thought was steep. Then again if that's an original pressing I kind of understand, the one I found was a re-release.

Is that some Brazilian slang, or are you making an onomatopoeic reference?

I think it might be a Crash Bandicoot reference.
