Naked City's guitarist right? What genre does he play?

Wow, I suck at checking who's in a band, I didn't know that.
He's got a lot of albums, obviously guitar-centric jazz, he's got two albums already this year, one was folk-exotic, the one I listened just now is surprisingly classical (in a chamber music sort of way).

Even with the use of counterpoint and six different instruments playing simultaneously, the music emits a terribly amateur vibe.

However, with even my first listen, I could see that the flack that this album received was all but hot air.

I think he means "not hot air" rather than "all but hot air."

I think the five-star review for that album was probably written by a member of the band.

I'd probably give part one a 2 and part two a 3.

I actually paid $5 to download Part 2, and it wasn't that bad- certainly an improvement but certainly not wonderful.

Considering not going for any reasons other than the potential averageness of it?
Given that I love both bands and have seen them both multiple times I am looking forward to this show.  I thought that Yes was quite good with Benoit David when I saw them a couple of years ago.  The only reason that I won't go is that they are predicting that is going to be 95 degrees Farenheit tomorrow and possibility of scattered thunderstorms, which could kind of suck at an outdoor venue.

I was referring to a note I made in the intro, but not hot air would make more sense. Thanks for the catch Rob. Smile

Mine ended at 496 pages so I think tonight will be the last night, or tomorrow morning.

No Stern Smile

You can make a pre-me shred when this shred grows to 560 pages like Rob's.
