I met a guy from Philly Pittsburg who was nicknamed Trey 'cause he was the Third of his name.  His father would be Junior, of course.

It's probably a nickname he picked up as a child because he did something amusing, like falling over, or something.

So erm... Dizzy or Ditzy or something.

Or maybe he's called Epic, much like the chap nicknamed Captain Awesome in Chuck.  Plus Epignosis would also mean he could be Epic.
