Yep.  Everything about this cover is fantastic.  The outer cover inner cover and the sleeves to the records.  All fantastic design suits the album down to the ground.

You couldn't be more wrong.
That is your opinion and i respect it but I just don't like the album cover it just seems so weird and kinda reminds me of Going for the One by Yes which is similar in the cover it just left me confused. Listening to the album didn't help much.

I don't see this as weird at all.  Although weird is good in my book (Not always)  A good album cover should tell you something and fit with the music within.  This one does that.  I can't imagine the Lamb designed by Roger Dean it would be ridiculous.  In addition to the cover being a great design - I like the way there are 'hidden' scenes on the record sleeves gave me hours of fun trying to work out what they represent.

I thing GFTO and LLDOB are both Hipgnosis covers and I like both.  Although GFTO doesn't fit the music so well.
Help me I'm falling!

I felt the same way until I saw it on vinyl. So much more impressive on that scale, in my opinion!

I like that style, actually. Embarrassed

Criticdrummer94, I agree. Lame. It would be one thing if it were just the series of 3 photographs, but the fact that the guy is standing there looking at them, as if he just lept from the third picture is really campy. It gives me the impression that whoever designed this thinks they're really clever. It would also be a lot better if there were no text on the cover. Not the worst. Nowhere near the best.

I find the new Symphony X album cover to be downright terrible. I haven't heard the album, though.

The single CD version or double CD version? I like the former but the latter is BLEH.

^ It's more conceptual artwork, truthfully but why do you think it's bad?

Because IMHO it's just bland boring and doesn't give much indication to what the album is going to be. Also, it is very stand offish to me. It just is a swing and a miss to me. I mean Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound have weird art too but i like those because it works with the music but with The Lamb it just isn't my cup of tea per se.

I have to say that Peter Hammil's "In Camera" is quite possibly the stupides got artwork of all time. The album's pretty good though.

There be dragons

I don't get  why some people consider this cover to be bad; for me it is one of the best ever. it perfectly fits the story told on the album. and the scene is no weirder than the story itself. and when you think about it for a moment you will realize that it is an illustration to the song "Riding  the Scree"
