Morning Shred. I'm up early today because it's pancake breakfast season and I am going to get pancakes. Thumbs Up

Rico, that looks good. You can always trust Nikon. IMO it's excellent if you don't want to go more pro. The DSLR Lizzy and I are using (Nikon D60) doesn't seem to be available any more, but here's what an entry-level Nikon DSLR costs like on EMAG. IMO not much, so it depends on whether you want to become a better protographer or to just keep doing what you normally do with a better camera.

I don't listen to them. So have no opinion. But they look worth it so I intend to get round to them

Yep, not zooming pointlessly to 21x just to get a red-eyed stretched snowflake-pixeled zombie photo of Murray Perahia in September is about all I need..

Dungen are pretty good. Alex is crazy about Motorpsycho, I'm not.

First minute, without the moon (wasn't on the sky) and with some unfinished buildings, would be my view out the window the whole last night. Big smile

Don't know why this track would appeal to me, it's not too special. Has a bit of Molvaer in the 2nd part, that's cool.

I also looked at the cheapest Panasonic at Emag and it offers basically the same thing but for 300 RON more. Andreea has Panasonic (but a slightly older version that the one I found on Emag), the pics on her FB were made with that camera.

I looked for reviews of the Nikon you found but apparently it's so new that user reviews haven't appeared yet.

It was exactly me finding, I'm finally pressured to use the thousand bucks I won on something. And since I am incapable of having an opinion on something besides music... (sometimes not even there)

And here's a pro review of Nikon Coolpix L120 if you're interested. I recommend going directly to the Sample Images, Conclusion and Main Rivals.

Just grits, poached eggs, and decaf coffee (what I stole from a resort hotel in April).

I would have had deer this morning, but it hasn't finished thawing.  My friend is coming over today (so he says) and we'll eat deer burgers and bear sausage.  And drink beer.  Cool

Rob, do you remember when you posted in one of the gun-control debates we had on PA that article about the horrid crime rate from the UK? It was that article to which Dean replied something like "we didn't clame we're not violent, we were talking about gun murder". My question is, do you still have that article?

No- I remember the discussion though.

I tried to search for it real quick and came across a very old thread.

I think Jim's answer (and the next post) are very irrational but do represent a more British way of viewing the subject.  I mean, does this mean you shouldn't have golf clubs or kitchen knives because an intruder might beat you or stab you with them?  Or worse, bring bigger golf clubs or bigger knives?  Ermm

Sorry.  Didn't mean to open a discussion.  Embarrassed
