I have no problem paying close to 30 dollars for a 750 ml bottle of a Cantillon beer. But that may be because of my blinding love for Lambics.

Some people would say the same about wine.

^ True, some people might say that (because people can say anything)
But I think we can all agree, that people are generally prone to pay more for expensive wine than for expensive beer.

One more for Chimay - those trapist munks really know what they´re doing. I do favor Danish micro breweries, who in the last years have been making some wonderful and ballsy beer.

This got tapped this weekend. This is one of the best stouts I've had. Yards is becoming my favorite brewery.

I went to Taphouse Grill in Seattle the other day. Had a lot of Stone and Elysian beers. All good. Elysian Immortal IPA in particular is quite tasty.
Deschutes brewery in Portland yesterday. Triend six beers, all good. Le Cycliste had a very unexpected taste. It was like a really hoppy lemonade. One of the most interesting Hefeweizens I've had for sure.
Bought a bunch of Hair of the Dog and Mikkeller today and ended the day by going to the Rogue brewpub to try some of their stuff. Rogue is a good brewery, but none of their stuff blows my mind.

I've not...not much of a cider fan I'm afraid, but my wife would possibly give it a try.

I don't really like cider that much myself because it's too sweet for me. This is quite different. It's super dry and bitter. It's really not sweet at all. It might be worth a try if you see it on tap and want a change-up.
I've been obsessed with it lately.

The Norbertine beers Leffe and Grimbergen are really good... But according to my experience Belgains can't do wrong regarding beer.

I noticed that some of the beers I dislike most are on this list even in the highest regions. Fortunately, you seem to have enough time to experience that taste may improve with the years (no overconsumption of the beers I marked blue is assumed) . You have tasted more different beers than I did when I had the same age. Btw, I would mistake about half of the names you mentioned for whisky.
