James wrote: Kvitova isn't THAT good. The women's game is quite open at the moment, so we're going to see lots of different winners. The No. 1 is always changing. You'll find the Williams sisters are always a threat (despite both being knocked out earlier than expected) and you'll always have Sharapova and a few other players who have the talent but don't always show it. Meanwhile those like Lisicki, Kvitova and some other lesser seeds will win the odd slam because they are the underdogs a lot of the time.
True. Lisicki will definitely win one in the next few years the way she played this year.

But I didn't think Kvitová would beat Sharapova but do think Lisicki could have beaten Kvitová. That means that Lisicki could have also beaten Sharapova. Edit: I swear her name was slept Cvitová yesterday...

Sharapova needed to subdue Kvitova's hard-hitting even more than she did Lisicki.

MGMT is okay sometimes. They're fun music for the beach, but bad for nearly everything else.

Also, is it a return to restraint and grace upon winning classy Wimbledon? I mean, she didn't roll on the turf, bursting into tears of joy and such. She was pretty much "meh" about receiving the trophy and posing as the champion, too.

I think I may start working on a Frith collection sometime. Any recommendations of his non-HC, non-Art Bears, non-Cosa Brava output to start with?

Mark, I bought Jardel on FM10... wow, his stats are good for the level I'm playing at! He's 36 mind you and so he may have one season in him. Unfortunately he's only just arrived at the club on a free transfer, so he hasn't played any games and it's the close-season.
