Howdy all,

I've just recently finished recording a song called "Clock Liquid" and I'd just like to share it with anyone interested.

I'm not into the whole defining music thing so you know.... come give it a try ;)

Here it is : http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_9195647

Thanks for listening man. Well, I primarily play all the guitar parts but all the other instruments you hear in this version are synthetic. I can play most of the keyboard and bass parts to my songs (and some drum parts) but I'm only one person so I'm currently working with other musicians at the moment and they are the ones that attempt to play all bass, keyboard, drum and other parts.

in other words... I'm the guitarist in the band ; )

Strange, I've not listened to that much Porcupine Tree. I do like them but I've only heard about 3-5 songs of theirs.

oh and... to record it, first I composed it and mapped it out in MIDI and then sequenced it and THEN used Adobe Audition to record all the guitar parts and tinker about with the sound hehe.

Yeh it takes abit of work before there's a finished piece of music at the end of everything - some tracks more than others. For example I have a track called 'King's Karpet' which took quite awhile to finish just because of the amount of different ideas in that one piece... and it was only 14 mins long. Some of my other tracks are 20+ mins but they didn't take as long to record as that one piece - "King's Karpet"

but you have some coffee and then you have some fun hehe ;)
