Remember when people actually talked about what they were listening to and commented on other people's albums and those people actually responded.

I don't have much to say about The White Stripes as I've never heard them. Wink

As for me:

I just mean in general. Anyone who knew Antoine knew that he would comment on just about everything - doesn't matter if he'd heard it or not. Changed the atmosphere. It wasn't just covers in a thread - it was discussion. Look up the non-febus Listening threads and you'll see.

They don't! It's completely depressing.

That Gilmore album always hit me in a soft spot. Although it's been so long since I last heard it that I can't remember any of it... I should probably just buy it. I have his first one on 33' and I lurve it.

We saw them on their final tour, which was in support of this album. Oh memories. It was also at a venue right next to the place we'd live a year later. Neither one of us knew at the time...

We do do that on occasion but not often enough. By the way did you catch White on Colbert?

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
