This I really like - thanks a bunch! Great name too.

Oh wow, this is just wonderful, and perfect timing too! I'm planning on doing a special episode of my radio show tomorrow playing nothing but free/pwyw tracks from bandcamp, but I was struggling to find any interesting folky stuff to drop into the playlist to balance out the more rocky/electronic stuff. Thanks!

I actually liked HTCF, as I recall.

That one was actually pretty pleasant music; it's too bad we never finished that EP.  Now the bassist is in BC, the drummer just graduated high school and is going to study music (he's actually fiendishly good), and me and the other guitarist are Engineering students.

I still listen to "Space Preserves" sometimes Cool

Have just come across this group -" Glorie" on Bandcamp. Their self-titled album is very much worth a listen and is downloadable  for free/name your price. The music leans towards progressive post-rock/experimental. I am personally impressed with this group and highly recommend their music!
They are listed on PA as cross-over progressive. Thumbs Up

Yep, I second this recommendation. I found them a few days ago and they went straight into the playlist for today's show! Big smile

Could this thread be stickied? It's definitely more active and IMO more interesting right now than the other stickied recommendation threads from this section.

This band is great. Sounds like Leg End-era Henry Cow meets Dave Holland Big Band meets something else I forgot.

Not strictly prog, but amazing skramz with some proggy turns if you're into that sort of stuff. First track is my song of the year so far.

Hey everyone, hope you don't mind a bit of on topic SPAM- I have been reading these forums and saw this topic and thought you might like to check out my project from a few years back:

http://trurl.bandcamp.com/

For a time it is also available for a streaming preview at www.progstreaming.com

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by making this my inaugural post.  Cheers!

Trurl
