Because he is an incredible drummer.
That's what a jazz background does for a drummer, which is why I hate myself for starting out to metal. I have such a limited style. But I'm improving, which is good.
have you tryed some borderlined jazz drummers that are jazzy in style but don't play straight out jazz or not at all... but have a clear jazz background or closely related to jazz (funk), like Steely Dan (Gadd, Porcaro, Purdie), Toto (Porcaro, Phillips), Soundgarden (Cameron),

I can hear some of the same drumming approach in Jeff Porcaros as in Phil Collins, and futher in Matt Cameron and Gavin Harrison, all of them are heavly into groove and subtlety but all are also powerfull if they have to,

this are  drummers I would logicaly drum after if you would like to develop more into a groovy jazz dummer, who can swing, but also play solid metulz if that aquires...

these songs build around trible drumming and shuffle jazz grooves, nice to practise to.... posted in the year they each were released

(this song aint similar at all to those under but the jazzy drumming is there)

I've never seen the original Tron, but I do like the Daft Punk soundtrack to the sequel. DP are one of the few dancy electronic groups I actually love.

Why are you killing yourself this time?

Tron should have just been a Daft Punk music video, I would like it more.

Yeah, I agree. I've really got no interest in Tron, but a long Daft Punk music video starring Jeff Bridges sounds pretty neat.

I'd also like to know why Henry is suicidal.

I don't know if anyone would enjoy this, but it sounds like a modern and Spanish version of Kraftwerk. It's also totally free.

It is all just a matter of deciding if it sucks more to be alive or to be dead.

Yeah, I'll probably kill myself before I die of natural causes. If not from being pissed or depressed, then it will be from "natural causes" just being too boring of a way to die.
