Nice man, with some good production this will be a gem... When the strings come in, try harmonising them. Works a treat :) sixths are always nice... And also I'm feeling some Phrygian in that bassline, but that's just personal taste!

Thanks a lot everyone! I thought this thread was dead, but when I checked it today I was surprised to see so many people responding.
Once again, thanks for listening!

Absolutely great composition. I love how you had some really melodic/grandiose guitar lines in there also the really serene keyboard and synth work in there. I hear a lot of Dream Theater influence, am I right? |
Thank you very much!
Yes, there is definitely a Dream Theater influence, it's the band which got me into prog.

That was really good, especially considering that you're just 15. It got better and better the further out this got, and you'll very likely develop a lot as a song writer, very fast. You show potential for very good song writing, and this is a great start. Nice :)
Just curious, what region in Norway are you from? I'm Norwegian myself, and it's good to know that there are other experimental musical people growing up as well, even in Norway, not just in Sweden (Sweden is THE prog country!)

Thanks a lot!

Thanks!
I solely use Propellerhead's Reason and Record as my main DAW, and the drums are from the RDK2 refill.

Thank you as well!
I have uploaded a remastered version on Soundcloud (and soon on Bandcamp, too), where you can hear some of the harmonies that were lost in the first mastering. Thanks for the tips!
