They might have been a little too indie for me.  That's how I felt about Neon Bible.

The Suburbs was a little better.

i think it is a revival of pre-christian images propaganda, I certainly see that tree as remeniciant of the tree of wisdom (Ygdrasill), with the roots down to musphellheim or to hel Geek
