This one is still my favourite of theirs, it's probably not one you would like though James.

Why would I not like it?

Aren't all their albums noisy and relatively atonal yet with jazzy parts?

This one is more ambient.  If I could compare it to anything you also aren't familiar with but also wouldn't like it would be the Guapo album in my avatar

Is it anything like Ultralyd's more ambient stuff?

You should.  They're good.

Conditions for a Piece of Music and Chromosome Gun are excellent.

Renditions is much more ambient but still very good.

I gave up on having a list.  I usually just listen to stuff if I can get hold of.  If I like it, I usually try and buy a copy.

Would this be considered djent? I like to think that I don't like djent, but I've been listening to this album on repeat for the past couple of hours.

Yes, I think so.  Keep in mind it's not a genre, though :P

I think djent is eventually going to be considered a genre, like shoegaze and post-rock.

Yea, it's not a genre. The band, which is tech metal uses the style of djent to augment their songs. They are not "djent," although you might say they are a "djent" band.

So therefore Djent is a genre.

They're Tech Djent.

When I say "djent" band I mean a band that uses djent.

I consider djent to be a subgenre of metal that is generally "cookie cutter" versions of a lesser-Meshuggah.
