I've been feeling super fatigued lately, and I've only been running a total of about 12 miles per week. I guess I should eat more, or run less, or something else - I don't even know. All I know is that I consistently feel like crap. I'll probably still go out for a few miles tonight. I've started running at 8 pm because they days are just way too hot.

Glad I went out today, it's starting to get horribly hot again. I need to shift to much later in the day.
It's okay, I edited the OP for you

Good to hear bro Without trying to derail this thread too much, I'll also recommend you check out Miles Away (particularly Endless Roads) and Touché Amoré (Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me is great, my album of the year so far).

It's damn cold here, getting to be horrible to go running at all. I always get horrible sinus infections when I'm out in the cold too. No fun.

Oh, Joel, I got Defeater's Lost Ground EP, and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks for the recommendation, bro man.
I've never really gotten into any thrash myself, this sounds pretty good though.
Good to hear man I'm absolutely loving Defeater. Saw them live earlier this year, awesome live show too. Empty Days and Sleepless Nights is worth checking out as well (the same concept as Travels, retold from another perspective.)

Been on a bulk for 2 weeks now for lifting, noticed considerable gains in a super short time. Might keep it up for longer than I originally planned then cut later.
New shoes are absolutely brilliant couldn't be more than happy with them. I have noticed they're a lot more harsh on the legs overall, but I'm guessing I'll get used to that. Also went for a barefoot run for about 1km today, feet felt fine after although now they're super itchy.

Got my new shoes in the mail today, just took them out for a quick run. Certainly different to traditional trainers although it felt way more natural overall. Definitely gonna look into more minimal shoes later.

Winds can be a bitch, yeah. I guess it's good training. Hard to breath though, I'm sure there's some kind of trick or something.

Haven't been able to jog longer than 4k myself (well, I guess I could have, but I'm being anal about my routes) since my long route is still totally flooded.

Speaking of good songs, not prog, but I was just telling a friend on FB that Patti Smith's Free Money worked really good. Especially for sprints.

Ran two miles today in some really heavy wind, and I mean it was windy for even Kansas. Listened to some of Slow Riot by GY!BE, "Moya" is always a cool song to run to.

I should resume jogging, really. Should have done that since April, even with a more capricious weather than expected, but I've experienced bad health. Surprisingly, if last fall I struggled to drop under 90 kilos, with all the months of hiatus I somehow lost even more, now at around 83-84.

Jogging would still mean running half an hour around the block, nothing more.

Yeah, that's a great bonus!

I went jogging on the mountain this morning, took a different trail that was less steep, but longer than my usual trail. 4.5 km up, but it was so freaking muddy, I had to stop often to figure out where to go, so it was difficult to get a decent rhythm going. I took a 3.9 trail going down, and it was much more enjoyable.

But now the side of my right foot stings like a bitch now... I guess I overestimated my uphill jogging abilities Embarrassed

A pretty place though:

At least not usually.

I guess I don't really belong in this thread, do I? Tongue
