Topic: Upgrade to JMA type layout? Posted: June 01 2011 at 14:52 |
I don't know if this has been suggested but I like alot of the features on JMA such as the way the members review list pages are set up, how album are organized and some of the reviewing quirks such as a character count.
Would it be possible to make it more like JMA or would it pose problems to the organization of the site?
I don't really know if there's actually more problems with JMA than PA I just thought it was a cool site.
Just a suggestion,
Thanks.

Noooooo !!!!!!!!!! Let's keep PA as it is and let the three M@X sites have their own separate identities.

let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword

Please no. I like PA the way it is. We can implement certain aspects, but not an "upgrade" (personally I think the MMA/JMA layout is more streamlined with less functionality, and I like PA better)

I prefer the PA layout for PA. The fact that the site is much more mature and populated demands some differences in presentation. There is also a huge difference in traffic.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Half star ratings would be nice over here, but I think the way the home page on PA is set up nicely, I don't like how newly released albums on JMA/MMA reviews are on the top, and reviews for older albums are below it

I think the layouts of the sites are nice but they are still missing some functionalities, such as the brilliant PA search function that can make you explore the fewer rated albums of specific subs and years. Love that. (and don't like the black forums, makes me eyes dizzy)

Yea I hate the black forum. And it's on JMA too, and jazz is supposed to be a mildly happier genre

PA layout is way better.
(I really wish JMA followed PA design rather than MMA honestly.)
