Do you listen to any Nu Jazz?

A small amount.  Although I'm not exactly sure which artists you mean.  I like some Jaga Jazzist and other Norwegian stuff that's related to them.

I'm not really a specialist in the field but what I've heard (Pink Freud and some other bands Alex recommended me) was great.

DOSBox will help with that.

You could also try playing them in Windows 95 or 98 mode.

A month or two ago I actually played almost all of the games mentioned by aginor on my mac's dosbox. I tried fiddling around with the different modes, but I couldn't make them (most of the Windows games) work. I would've loved to try out Alpha Centauri after all these years. Thankfully Rollercoaster Tycoon and Age of Empires II worked without trickery, had a couple of hours of fun with them Clap

I can play AoE and AoE II fine in Windows without DosBox, so all is good.

I never got into Rollercoaster Tycoon or Railroad Tycoon and I tried getting into SimCity 3000 a while back but couldn't.  This is from someone who used to play the original SimCity to death.

Never tried Alpha Centauri.

I still love Civilization II (thought I had III with me here, but I guess my bro's got it now), I didn't really get AC when it came out. Could be fun to try it now, what 12 years later.
