Are anyone of them DOS based?
DOSBox will help with that.
You could also try playing them in Windows 95 or 98 mode.
A month or two ago I actually played almost all of the games mentioned by aginor on my mac's dosbox. I tried fiddling around with the different modes, but I couldn't make them (most of the Windows games) work. I would've loved to try out Alpha Centauri after all these years. Thankfully Rollercoaster Tycoon and Age of Empires II worked without trickery, had a couple of hours of fun with them

I can play AoE and AoE II fine in Windows without DosBox, so all is good.
I never got into Rollercoaster Tycoon or Railroad Tycoon and I tried getting into SimCity 3000 a while back but couldn't. This is from someone who used to play the original SimCity to death.

Never tried Alpha Centauri.
I still love Civilization II (thought I had III with me here, but I guess my bro's got it now), I didn't really get AC when it came out. Could be fun to try it now, what 12 years later.
