I'm Alex (or Sockface... or Sockalex... or MP). Haven't been around as much the past year or so, so that's probably why you haven't seen a whole lot of me in that time.

Hello Smile

If its been the past year or so, that's understandable because I've only been around for just under a year LOL

Well, I've only listened to the first five minutes of the first song. It's fun. I usually don't go for PA minor 'darlings'. I never got on the Porcupine Tree thing (but I've only listened to Fear of a Blank Planet), and I never got into the Decemberists (although I only listened to Hazards of Love). Kansas bores me, I hate Rush, I loathe ELP. I only listen to one Genesis album (and no, it ain't Foxtrot). I only listen to one Yes album (it's Fragile). I'm not too into Mars Volta. I used to love VDGG, now I only give a damn about Godbluff. I'm particular, dammit.

So you're not a... prog... fan? LOL

But some of my favorite groups are Ayreon, Pain of Salvation, Death, Devin Townsend, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Opeth, Queensryche, Savatage, Jethro Tull, maudlin of the Well, Kayo Dot, Sigur Ros, Steve Hackett, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Comus and quite a few more.

Wow, we have very similar tastes except for the more metal bands. Shocked Do you listen to GY!BE?

I haven't had a chance to get into them just yet. I want to, though. Other my favorites are Tom Waits, Alice in Chains (no, not for Man in the Box), ELO, Elton John, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Judas Priest, Metallica, Cynic, Atheist, Renaissance, Modest Mouse, Stevie Wonder, Ween, Flaming Lips, The Band, David Bowie, Doors, Neil Young (loved After the Gold Rush), Crosby, Stills, and Nash, The Beatles, The Stones, Lennon, Janis Joplin, Portishead, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Will Oldham, Vangelis, and (early) Marillion.

Yeah, except when I was over here to host the two Mafia games late last year and to occasionally stop by, I haven't been much of a presence during that time.

I understand her reasoning, but I think that shooting him might've been a slight overreaction.
