Not watching something due to fear of being associated with it's audience, regardless of that audience, is pretty hipster.

That's because they think it's amusing when it's really not amusing whatsoever. Comedy is mostly bad now. There are exceptions, obviously. I actually like Lead Balloon. Yep. Not remotely hipster to like it either.
