It's been a long time coming. Painkiller was probably their last gasp of consistent greatness. I liked one...erm...fourth of Nostradamus and a couple songs offa Angel of Retribution, but maybe even they realize they've bitten the big bazooka. Maybe this'll be healthy, and the opposite of releasing a derivative concept album about obscure battlefields nobody knows or cares about, or plane shooting matches or what have you every couple years like triplet-riff clockwork.

Actually I really like Angel of Retribution, but between that and Painkiller yeah...there wasn't much of anything. And Nostradamus was....erm not so good

Judas Priest were my favorite band as a teenager.  British Steel was the first record that I bought with my own money.  I still love them for sentimental purposes but really rarely listen to them any more, aside from their album marathon that I did as part of my A to Z artist marathon that will take me the rest of my life to finish.

Well, there are two Judas Priest 'modes': Hard-driving metal and pure hard rock suckitude. Painkiller's their exception. From 1976 to 1979 all their material is pretty good. It's sometimes surprising. I never would've expected them to write a song like Last Rose of Summer or cover a Joan Baez tune. If you were to start, pick up these three albums and it'd tell you everything about the band that's worth hearing:

Sin After Sin
Screaming For Vengeance
Painkiller

Don't forget about Sad Wings of Destiny!
That album is one of the best.

Billy Cobham on One Word = ShockedShockedBowdown. I haven't listened to MO in too long.

Sad Wings of Destiny used to be my favorite by them until I finally admitted to myself that side two isn't necessary. Victim of Changes? The Ripper? Dreamer/Deceiver? That's possibly one of the strongest single sides of metal in existence. But I stop caring after that. Still, it's real good on average.

Try CTRL+Plus, or if you are on a Mac, Command+Plus
CTRL/COMMAND+Zero will set Firefox back to your default zoom.

I think I was imagining it.  It looks fine now.

My main issue is Firefox not keeping my tabs open when I close and re-open it.  It just loads up with one tab with Google in.

I've checked the settings and it's still set to remembering tabs.

Weird and annoying.

Switch to Google Chrome. It, like, has nothing to it. It's so f**king intuitive! No messy bars and buttons, just tabs and a search bar.

I've never really been a fan of Judas Priest, or much traditional heavy metal, to be honest.

But then again, I'm more of a person who likes extremities in music.  I like stuff that's extremely heavy and stuff that's not really heavy at all.

I hate that movie.

It was nothing but a nerd reference marathon.

I might actually watch it sometime

Here's a sample of the humor:
"Hey guys, I can play the Final Fantasy 2 battle theme!" *duhduhduhduhduhduhddodo duhduhduhduhduhduhdodo*

That makes me want to see it.

f**k you all, that is an awesome movie,

I don't like Chrome.

I only like it because it's got nothing but a search bar and some tabs - no navigation bars or clutter.

Firefox 4 is very similar.

I don't like Chrome either.  I like menus and buttons.  That's why I dislike IE.  I could never find the Refresh button.

Having said that, there's not really a proper Refresh button on the latest Firefox either.

But with AdBlock + and other useful Add-ons, I find Firefox much better.  I don't get adverts or spyware at all now.
