VLC is also very useful. It's always the one that plays files that don't open in other players or have problems in others players. Back when I first started using it a few years ago, it was the only player that could play .mkv files!

It wouldn't play .ape files for me though, so I also installed BS.Player. LOL But I always use VLC for videos.
